WORKSHOP OPERATIVE - TRAINING PROVIDED - BRAINTREE

A family run, well established manufacturing company based in Braintree, Essex are looking for a workshop operative to join their busy team.

As a workshop operative your main duties will be learning to use saws and nail guns to help the saw operators. You will need to have experience working in a fast paced environment and have some practical skills or abilities.

Hours of work are Monday - Friday, 08:00-16:30 with overtime available through the week.

Workshop duties include:

- Use of pneumatic nail guns and/or staplers
- Training to use woodworking saws
- Using other hand and power tools
- Working from cutting lists
- Moving and lifting timber (need to be physically fit)

Experience of wooden case, crate, or pallet manufacturing is advantageous but not essential.
