Following recent growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a HR & Payroll Advisor to join our team The successful applicant will be responsible for the day-to-day HR operation for their own designated business sites, and will share responsibility for the completing of monthly payroll for the Group of Companies.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations issues, advising and guiding line managers on the appropriate actions.
- Complete reviews and updates on company policies, supporting the completion of a full documentation overhaul and introducing new policies.
- Organise and facilitate activity during employment consultation periods, such as contractual changes, redundancy, and trade union correspondence.
- Support HR & Payroll Manager in regularly reviewing HR & Payroll operation, identifying areas for change and/or improvement.
- Conduct disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings when appropriate to do so.
- Act as a note taker in formal meetings as and when required.
- Co-ordinate occupational health referrals, ensuring absence management processes are followed and understood.
- Become an expert in our HR & Payroll software, providing support to all users when required.
- Complete end-to-end monthly payroll including RTI submission.
- Process statutory payment calculations including SSP, SMP, SPP.
- Co-ordinate pension scheme enrolment and monthly submissions.
- Maintain personnel records on internal HRIS.
- Support with ad-hoc HR & Payroll projects.
**We are looking for someone who..**
- Is Level 5 CIPD Qualified.
- Has previous payroll experience.
- Is organized with great attention to detail.
- Possesses outstanding people skills.
- Has fantastic written English
**What's on offer..**
- Annual salary of up to £35,000 dependent on experience.
- 33 days annual leave including bank holidays**.**:

**Salary**: Up to £35,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
- Human resources: 2 years (required)
