**Transport Supervisor - Supply Chain & Logistics - Trafford Park - up to £28,000 pa**

**Transport Supervisor - The Rewards**
- Salary up to £28,000 pa

- 1 pm to 9 pm

**Transport Supervisor - Requirements**
- Must be experienced working within a transport office for multi drop deliveries
- Must have a minimum of 1 years team leader / management experience within a transport or logistics office
- Strong IT skills - in particular Excel
- Experience working in multi drop / home delivery service
- Strong knowledge of driver hours and working time regulations
- Strong knowledge of driver compliance
- IOSH Certificate and First Aid Certificate (Desirable)
- LGV Licence and CPC Card (Desirable)

**Transport Supervisor - Responsibilities**
- Assist the transport management team in the smooth running of the transport function
- Ensure that the trunking operation runs as smoothly as possible throughout the evening
- Ensure all vehicles are maintained in line with legal requirements
- Assist drivers with tasks in the Transport Yard when required
- Assist with boxing the vehicles for deliveries
- Ensure drivers are managed correctly to work within the driver's hours and working time regulations, using the company recognised processes to manage full compliance
- Thoroughly investigate any incidents, accidents and near misses when required
- Assist the training team with the addition of new drivers to the transport department
- Support the Transport Manager and training team with the recruitment of new drivers
- Be flexible to cover holidays etc
