We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced **Account Handler** to join **Renovation Plan**, part of the Aston Lark Group (a Howden company) at our offices located in **Burnham-on-Crouch**. If you have a background in property insurance and enjoy a fast-paced environment Renovation Plan may be the place for you.

We are looking for a bright, personable, self-motivated individual for this role. You will be working within our Commercial Schemes team and will have responsibility to deliver a highly personalised service to our customers. You will enjoy the challenge of the administration of clients’ insurance requirements including general enquiries, renewals policy extensions, mid-term adjustments, obtaining extension quotations, closing sales, invoicing of premiums, cross-sales.

**What you will be doing**:

- Assist in achieving Group/Division client income targets by providing an excellent level of service.
- Contact clients in good time to discuss extension requirements
- Calculate policy extension terms and present to client.
- Prioritise and handle all work promptly and accurately.
- Enthusiasm for other projects around the company e.g. charity, wellness
- Cross-sell products from other Divisions.

**You need to bring with you**:

- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to process work quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Good negotiation skills
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing specialist advice in the insurance market.
- Must be qualified to a minimum of Cert CII (or gain the qualification within 18 months of joining).
