Front of House Team Member

We have the perfect role for someone studying at university, with availability to work additional days in the week and weekends.

We are a busy tearooms located in Danson House, Danson Park, known for our warm hospitality and delicious treats. We take pride in creating memorable experiences for our guests and are seeking a part-time team member to join our team. (21-28 hours plus sickness and holiday cover per week to include weekend shifts)

As a team member at our tearooms, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishment. This position offers the opportunity to be part of a friendly and passionate team, working in a delightful customer focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Welcome and serve our customers with a smile, providing excellent front of house service.
- Assist with taking customers food and drink orders accurately, serving food and beverages and ensuring tables are clean and well maintained.
- Handle customers enquires and resolve any issues or concerns professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized tearoom environment.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure tearooms runs efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a hospitality role is required
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- A friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Barista training is an advantage but full training will be given.
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to upsell menu items to enhance guest experience.
- Proficiency in basic math for handling payments and providing change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members

Note**: Previous experience in a similar role is essential.**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 28 per week
