Universal M&E have an exciting opportunity for a **Mechanical Project Manager** to join the team.

Location: London & Home Counties

**Salary**: £50,000 - 60,000 depending on skills/experience

Hours: 40 Hours a Week

UME is a building services provider delivering solutions in Refrigeration, Mechanical and Electrical services committed to delivering excellence through out with a forward-thinking approach working on projects from £50,000 to £1,500,000.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing business operating in the commercial and retail spaces. Due to business expansion there is now a vacancy for a commercial manager to join the team.

**Mechanical Project Manager **- Key Responsibilities:

- Manage project resource - both employed teams and sub-contractors and forecast upcoming requirements
- Develop and grow relationships in order to insure a successful project delivery
- Communicate project expectations to both internal and external team members
- Provide technical support to site teams as required
- Manage project cost plan and report back to management team
- Preparing the final report at the end of a project, mark up 'as-builts', input into health and safety and operation and maintenance documentation
- Reviewing and monitoring works quality and ensuring corrective measures are taken where required.
- Direct and manage project development from start to finish, having responsibility and accountability for all aspects of the project

**Mechanical Project Manager** - You:

- Mechanically qualified
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a project manager role
- Excellent communicator
- Strong ability to negotiate and problem solve
- Self-motivated
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Flexibility and commitment
- Full UK driving license
