**Responsibilities in your new role as the Procurement Advisor**
- Provide guidance and support to line managers on the implementation of HR policies, including performance management, absence management, disciplinary, and grievance procedures.
- Encourage and coach line managers to address performance and absence issues effectively.
- Interpret and advise on employment legislation, ensuring compliance and providing relevant advice to managers and employees.
- Assist line managers with recruitment activities, including developing role profiles and person specifications.
- Liaise with stakeholders involved in policy development related to employee performance, health, and safety.
- Collaborate with the health and safety department to manage occupational health cases and offer guidance on complex absence issues.
- Advise on pay, promotions, and benefits discussions, ensuring fair and equitable practices.
- Promote and support a culture of equality, diversity, and inclusion within the organisation.

**Your personality, experience and qualifications**
- Holding a CIPD qualification is advantageous; however, equivalent knowledge and experience will also be considered.
- Ability to adapt communication styles to suit various stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in suggesting and implementing new ways of working.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant IT tools.
