Event Safety Stewards

The National Ice Centre and Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, the biggest live entertainment venue in the East Midlands, are looking to recruit casual Event Safety Stewards.
With the ability to deliver a variety of stewarding tasks, our Event Safety Stewards ensure the highest standards of safety for customers visiting our venue.
Event Safety Stewards will act as the first point of contact for our customers on an event night and support the Event Stewarding Supervisor and wider Event Team in the resolution of operational issues.
Following and keeping up to date with the codes of practice for our venue, the Event Safety Stewards will ensure safe working procedures and risk assessments are in place to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.
Having worked within a similar role you will have experience of dealing successfully with difficult customers, including challenging situations, you will have the ability to adapt quickly to a changing environment. A team player, you will have exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Due to the nature of our venue, you will be flexible in your approach to work, with ability to work regularly during the evenings or weekends.
Due to the restriction of working hours and shift times, and the legislation in place to protect young workers, we may not be able to consider applicants under the age of 18 years.
