This well-established food retailer are in search of a hardworking, self-driven individual to take full ownership of the P and L and drive this company into their next exciting stage of growth internationally. They are in search a creative thinker, a problemsolver and someone who is skilled and commercial but who fits their culture and values. Some of the standout qualities they require are someone who likes to take ownership and puts their own slant and creativity into their role. Someone one who can collaborateand work with a wide set of stakeholders including suppliers, agencies and teams but also with autonomy. They will have a clear goal filled vision and create a strategy to executive and achieve this.

- This role is based in the North West and offers flexi-remote working where you would only have to work from the office 1 day per week_

**Roles and Responsibilities of the Head of eCommerce**:

- Full P&L responsibility for the online business
- Define the online trading strategy and growth plan across UK and international marketplaces for next 5 years, in line with business and brand vision
- Report and analyse trading performance to continuously optimise and grow the online business, making recommendations to the Executive Board.
- Lead the full commercial proposition for the website and marketplace offerings including pricing and promotional strategies, payment and delivery offering - keeping ahead of market and competitor trends.
- Lead the development of our online range/ assortment, to maximise sales and profitability, leading negotiations and managing 3rd party suppliers to deliver these to market
- Lead SEO and CRO recommendations to optimise website rankings and user experience
- Own the e-commerce commercial forecast and budget, regularly liaising with the demand planning team
- Manage the customer service team that supports e-commerce operations
- Share and build knowledge and understanding of online opportunity with the wider commercial and marketing team.
- Work alongside marketing to deliver the aspirational brand mission
- Responsible for business plan and management of Amazon performance.

**Skills & Experience**
- Demonstrated a strong track record of driving online growth.
- Experienced at leading marketplace strategy and execution with a focus on own website and Amazon, continuously driving for growth.
- Strong experience with driving teams in a fast-paced e-retail environment
- An excellent communicator capable of building confidence within the business and with the Executive Board.
- Expert knowledge of latest eCommerce technologies and marketplaces.
- Very beneficial: Experience working with luxury brands and in food categories, international experience.
