Catering Assistant Supervisor

We are looking for a Retail Catering Assistant Supervisor to assist in the smooth running of our catering outlet at The Café at Edinburgh College of Art (ECA). The Café has 150 seats and provides a wide range of table served freshly prepared food together with Grab and Go Items, Barista Drinks, Delivered Catering and Hospitality.

**The Opportunity**:
Our customers are Students/Staff of UOE and we are also open to the public. Essential to our continued success is retaining and growing our business base by delivering excellent food and service.

Reporting to the Restaurant Manager the Retail Catering Assistant Supervisor will assist in the preparation and service of food / Barista Drinks for The Cafe. This is a hands one Supervisory role Main responsibilities including preparing/serving a range of hot meals, soup, salads and delivered catering to pre-set recipes. You will be a team player who enjoys working as part of a team to deliver the brand standards and exceed the customer’s expectations. You will demonstrate fantastic attention to detail and a passion for food. You will currently be working in a similar role within a catering environment.

It is essential to be able to work in a flexible manner and we encourage all team member to be multi skilled and support their colleagues in delivering exceptional service.
