The teams across Finance Service Delivery process a range of financial transactions and ensure procedures and processes are followed to deliver a high-quality service to our clients.
We aim to continue to deliver a high-quality service in the processing of financial transactions on behalf of our government clients. This could be anything from processing invoices to supporting an audit query.
Your responsibilities will include, ensuring the annual, monthly and daily cash forecasts are completed, reviewed and submitted to HMT by their appropriate deadlines. You will also advise clients of the current net payment flow and at the end of the month of the Consolidated Funds Extra Receipt (CFER) impact on the net payment flow to allow Clients to request the CFER value to pay HMT to achieve the most accurate forecast outturn.
To do this role well you will need:
- Ability to multitask, prioritise and work to strict and tight deadlines, the role includes managing multiple monthly deadlines
- High level of accuracy for dealing with sensitive client financial data
- In relation to client account management, you will need to show evidence of:
- Banking knowledge such as; account set ups, and an understanding of accounts being in debit or credit
- Reconciliation knowledge
- Cash forecasting knowledge
In return for your skills and experience, we can offer you flexible and remote working options for a 37hr week (full time) with start and finish times between 8am - 6pm, or part time hours to suit. Our team usually work from home and come into the office once or twice a week, but we are flexible on this too. If it helps, there is even flexibility on which office you base yourself from - Swindon, Newport, or Billingham.
