We are recruiting for a Hospitality Group that owns about 4 sites and is expanding through M&A. This is a Finance Director role paying £100,000-110,000 based in Central London, with travel to the sites. Business is around 10 million turnover with a coupleof million EBITDA and in good shape cashflow wise. The business has a lean finance team, with 2 management accountants underneath it and indeed a couple of finance people overseas. The business has a strong ERP system which links to the booking system andin turn produces strong dashboards. We therefore dont require someone who has to do a lot of manual accounting, as that is already covered, meaning that this role can do a lot of value add work. The business is backed by a large parent company, but has a relationshipwhere it can act at arms length to make decisions without having to always ask the parent company. It is nimble and has the feeling of an owner managed business, due to the culture and people within it. The role will look at the financial strategy of the business,exit plans in the future, automation of further finance tasks, overseeing the IT team sometimes and acting as a General Manager in the office where needs be. This is about creating insightful business partnering to drive decision making, oversee the auditand tax relationships, happy to roll their sleeves up from top to bottom of accounting, but with a focus on strategy. The ideal candidate is a Head of Finance/Finance Director in an SME business or someone who is in a larger company, looking for a lot moreautonomy. Preference ideally is for someone from Retail, Leisure or Hospitality, but we will consider all backgrounds. ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualified.
