**JOB TITLE: Warehouse Operative/Driver**

**DEPARTMENT**: **Hailsham Branch**

**REPORTS TO**: **Regional Manager**

**LIAISES WITH: All Branch Team Members**

**RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES**

- Able to coordinate driving and warehouse duties.
- Be able to work under tight deadlines to meet our customers high expectations & demands for service and delivery.
- Be prepared to work additional hours when necessary.
- Responsible attitude to driving and the care of the Company van.

**Reports to**:
Regional Manager

**Outline Duties**:

- Yours duties shall be a combination of warehouse and driving duties to support the other members of the team.
- You will also be responsible for supporting the administration function when required.
- You will be capable of performing all branch duties including, driving, warehouse picking and general paperwork.
- Have a good knowledge and understanding of company products. On the job training will be provided.
- Ensure all paperwork for orders and deliveries is accurate and excellent customer service is provided at all times.
- Additional hours where necessary to support all required branch activities.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Must have a valid driving license. Please note you will required to drive to cover holidays or sickness of our drivers. This role is primarily based in the warehouse.

**General**:

- We have a small warehouse team and it is therefore essential that all members of the team be prepared to help each other in times of need. This does mean that a flexible attitude to the duties to be carried out is essential; providing cover for other members of the team will be a requirement of this position.
- All holidays must be carefully coordinated with the other members of the team; only one member of the team may be on holiday at any point in time (except during fixed shut-down periods)
