Sheq Co-ordinator

**SHEQ Co-ordinator (Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality)
Basic salary £28,000 + benefits
Location: Newark. Nottinghamshire**
My client is a multinational organisation who provide facilities services to a wide customer base. They are looking for a health, safety, environment and quality (SHEQ) Co-ordinator to ensure HSE plans, systems and processes are implemented and operate effectivelyfor the site in Newark. Ideally you'll have your NEBOSH certificate but if not, but you have a real interest in a career in health and safety with some related experience and want to learn more we'd still love to hear from you.
**The Role**:

- Supporting the SHEQ department by ensuring compliance with all health, safety ad environmental policies.
- Updating documentation and information regarding courses, compliance, progress against location KPIs etc
- Managing audit process and documentation and potentially carrying out site audits too as experience grows
- Delivering basic health and safety induction training to new starters and toolbox talks.
- Working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm based at the site near Newark

**The Person**:

- We're looking for someone with some level of experience working in a health and safety environment, albeit this could be at a junior level and you're looking to grow and develop
- If you have a NEBOSH certificate that would be really beneficial but if you have some basic experience you can go through the certification on the job
- Any audit training or qualification would be really beneficial but isn't absolutely essential
- Good communication skills both written and verbal are needed
- You'll be self motivated and driven with a real passion for health and safety.
- We are open on the industry you've worked in as long as you can demonstrate some exposure to health and safety practices and a real desire to work in the industry.
- ISO knowledge and experience is essential

- A basic salary of £28,000 - £30,000 is offered
