Kenneth Brian Associates are looking for a confident **Account Manager** to join a leading product manufacturer selling to the retail industry based in Teddington. The purpose of this position is to look after **new accounts** and grow these accounts while **developing relationships**, must have experience in the **FMCG i**ndustry
**Duties will include**:
- Building relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to their needs
- Maintaining and developing relationships with current clients
- Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners
- Staying up to date with new trends
- Create sales forecast and work towards reaching them
- Possessing a strong understanding of companies’ products, the competition in the industry and positioning
- Meet sales targets and managing a budget
- Reporting monthly on the progress and status of new accounts
**Experience Required**:
- Previous experience in a similar role for 2 years or more
- Proven experience of maintain and developing relationships
- **Must** have previous experience within an **FMCG** indstry
- Solid IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Excellent communication skills
- Strategic and creative mind
