**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify, lead and manager regional procurement cost reduction activities on non-centrally-led purchased commodities and services. This includes the development and the management of the procurement strategy for these categories. You will also be accountablefor meeting the category and region targets
- For centrally led categories, responsible for ensuring data gathering, full collaboration with the European set -up, execution and implementation of pan-European category strategies
- Set up the right organisation in various areas to keep the overall department as cost effective as possible and inline with the LKQ Europe strategy to maximise the level of spend
- Lead and manage procurement staff including building the right team, motivating them and supporting them achieve their individual targets
- Ensure regional team conducts supplier management review together with functional and operational teams according to corporate standards
- Establish and maintain clear communication channels with key stakeholders through regular business review meetings and clear communication matrix
- Pursue the deployment of the P2P global platform - Coupa - and enhance the usage of the S2P process. Contribute to the overall Vendor-On-boarding and Contract Management processed/systems streamlining and contribute to the deployment of the selected solution
- Set-up and follow up with Regional Finance on KPIs and detailed reports on region/countries spend overview, vendor landscape, payment terms, PO adoption etc.
**Skills and Experience Needed**:
- Masters degree in Purchasing, Business Administration, Finance Engineering etc.
- Experience in leadership in a procurement organisation
- Be performance driven and results orientated
- Have excellent negotiation skills
- Ability to communicate with colleagues at different levels throughout the organisation
