Joining on a 9 month fixed term contract, you will play an integral role in the general accounting team. Reporting into the Senior Manager, General Accounting the individual will be responsible for the production of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations,and support internal/ external audits as required.

As an experienced Financial Accountant, you will be joining a high-performing team and will work cross-functionally to monitor controls and key processes and to ensure continuous improvement.

**The key tasks and responsibilities for the role are as follows**:

- Support the Europe finance control team and monthly close process, which includes posting journal entries, completing balance sheet reconciliations, and closing the legal entity books.
- Process all monthly changes to our leases in our lease accounting tool
- Own all lease related journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations in Blackline. This will involve significant interaction with legal and the global lease accounting teams.
- Develop strong cross functional relationships with FP&A, legal, and global accounting teams.
- Assist in maintaining and improving our internal controls and processes as the finance function continues to mature.
- Support the wider control team with ongoing projects and initiatives.

- Part Qualified / Qualified ACA/ACCA
- Experience with lease accounting (either in industry or practice)
- Strong technical accounting skills, including experience with US GAAP
- Strong Excel Skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Self-starter, takes initiative, highly motivated
- Ability to multi task and be flexible regarding changing priorities and tight deadlines
- Ability to perform critical analysis and thinking, prioritise and problem solve
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
