Accounts Payable Clerk

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable clerk? Have you managed the full cycle accounts payable process including payment runs? Do you have strong communication skills and the ability to tackle difficult queries? If so I would love to hear from you.
My client is a fashion retailer and is currently looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join their finance team on an interim basis. In this role, you will be expected to lead from the front and will report directly in to the Finance Department.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Clerk include:

- Responsible for matching, batching and coding
- Processing a high volume of supplier invoices
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Matching the purchase orders
- Responsible for the fortnightly payment run via BACS & CHAPS
- Month end reporting
- Bank reconciliations on a daily basis including multicurrency
To be considered for this role, you will need the following:

- Purchase ledger experience
- Strong levels of customer service, both internal and external
- Highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel and Outlook)
- A team-player
