**Vacancy: Cleaner**

**Job Brief**: We are seeking a diligent and reliable Cleaner to maintain our facilities across both production and non-production areas. As a Cleaner, your primary responsibility will be to ensure a clean and orderly environment, in compliance with relevant BRC and customer requirements. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall well-being of our organisation.
- **Part-Time Position**:

- **Hours**: 32 hours per week (£24,500 Per Annum Pro Rata)
- **Schedule**:

- Friday: 8-hour shift
- Saturday and Sunday: 12-hour shifts

**Responsibilities**:

- **Cleaning and Maintenance**: Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, scrubbing, vacuuming, mopping, sanitising, and restroom cleaning.
- **Routine Inspections**: Regularly inspect and document the condition of designated facility areas, identifying any deficiencies or repair needs.
- **Heavy Cleansing Tasks**: Handle heavy-duty cleaning tasks and special projects as necessary.
- **Repair Notifications**: Promptly notify management of any maintenance issues or repair needs.
- **Minor Repairs**: Make minor adjustments and repairs to fixtures and equipment.
- **Supply Management**: Stock and maintain consumable supplies (such as cleaning products and restroom essentials).
- **Team Collaboration**: Cooperate with other staff members to maintain a cohesive and efficient work environment.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
- **Stock Audits**: Conduct periodic audits of stock levels as required.

**Requirements and Skills**:

- **Experience**: Proven working experience as a Cleaner.
- **Equipment Handling**: Ability to operate specialised cleaning equipment and machinery.
- **Team Player**: Work effectively as part of a team and demonstrate initiative in completing tasks.
- **Physical Stamina**: Physically capable of remaining active throughout most of the shift.
- **Chemical Knowledge**: Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, their uses, and safety precautions.
- **Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)**: Understand and follow MSDS guidelines.
- **Integrity and Confidentiality**: Uphold high standards of integrity and maintain confidentiality.
