**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure.
- Provide support in medication administration as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Assist with mobility and transportation of patients using equipment such as Hoyer lifts.
- Support patients with Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and other memory-related conditions.
- Engage in effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to patient service and caregiving.

**Skills**
- Experience with Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks, or other EMR/EHR systems.
- Critical care experience within a Level I or Level II trauma center environment.
- Medical office experience including familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices.
- Knowledge of phlebotomy techniques and basic life support (BLS) certification.
- Experience in long-term care settings such as assisted living facilities or nursing homes.
- Background in hospice care, acute care, ICU experience, or emergency medicine is preferred.
- Understanding of geriatrics, pediatrics, home care, outpatient services, and behavioral health practices.
- Proficiency in anatomy knowledge and physiology relevant to patient care needs.
