Job Profile Summary:
The Compliance team provides a second line of defence, their role includes providing oversight and guidance on the Firm’s Compliance with applicable rules, regulations, internal policies and procedures including working with other areas of the Firm to devise and maintain appropriate systems and controls for the Firm.

**Responsibilities**:
Financial Crime
- Assist the Financial Crime team in the management of BAU workflows across various jurisdictions and business units.
- Conduct risk-based due diligence on clients, deals and counterparties to assess financial crime risk.
- Review KYC reports and produce risk assessments on Man's business relationships.
- Investigation and disposition of ongoing monitoring alerts.
- Supporting the Financial Crime sanctions programme, including the assessment and response to economic sanctions announcements and management of the automation of firm-wide restrictions.
- Supporting Man's banned weapons, cannabis, and crypto investing oversight programmes.
- Research, analysis and assessment of new asset classes for relevant financial crime considerations and supporting the development of new operating models to support the business.
- Support the Financial Crime team with regulatory tasks or ad hoc projects and event driven casework.
- Preparation of draft policies, procedures, board reports and other senior management reporting.
- Collate and produce management information for presentation at team meetings, committees, to senior management and other teams as required.
- Seek to actively improve processes and put forward suggestions for process efficiency.

Key Skills & Experience:

- Background and understanding of the asset management industry would be beneficial.
- Experience in a financial crime, investigations, research, due diligence or legal role would be beneficial.
- Experience in analytical report writing and production of management information.
- Previous experience working in a regulated environment.
- A focused, proactive, goal-orientated team member.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Clear and concise communicator.
