**30 hrs a week 10am to 4pm, alternate weekends**

**Summary**

We are seeking an Activities Coordinator to join our dedicated team at East Anglia Care Homes. This role is crucial in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by organizing engaging activities that promote social interaction and mental stimulation. The position is based in our beautiful care home located in North Walsham.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a diverse range of activities tailored to the interests and needs of residents.
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages participation in social events and recreational programs.
- Collaborate with staff to ensure activities align with the overall care plan for each resident.
- Engage with families to involve them in activities and enhance community connections.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities, making adjustments as necessary to improve resident satisfaction.
- Organize special events, outings, and celebrations that enrich the lives of residents.

**Requirements**:

- Experience in a similar role within a care home or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of senior care needs, including dementia and assisted living.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with residents, families, and staff.
- Ability to plan, organise, and execute activities that cater to diverse interests.
- Immaginative/creative/ sense of humor

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £12.21 per hour
