**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced **Youth Mentor** to support the delivery of one-to-one lessons to students with diverse needs, including those with SEND. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support students who are unable to attend mainstream schooling, helping them engage with their studies through tailored and accessible lessons. Lessons may take place in students' homes, libraries, or other agreed-upon locations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Establish meaningful connections with students.
- Provide academic assistance along with helping children build confidence and reach their full potential
- Foster a positive and motivating learning environment.
- Act as a role model and mentor for personal development.
- Possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work collaboratively with pastoral teams to ensure holistic support for each student.
- Maintain thorough records of lessons and progress in line with the organisation’s requirements.
**Requirements**:
- Experience working with **SEND students** is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students in a one-to-one setting.
- Flexibility to work in various locations, including students’ homes or other designated learning environments.
- A valid **DBS check** (or willingness to undergo one.

Pay: £13.00-£16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
