**Interim Financial Controller**

MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a **Leading FMCG Business**, on the search for an **Interim Financial Controller**. This is a contract position, based in **Doncaster.**

As the **Interim Financial Controller**, you will maintain and develop an effective Finance function aligning activities with the Company’s strategy and mission and ensuring that objectives are achieved and Company targets for long term sustainablecompetitive advantage, growth, profitability and systems development are met in a dynamic and agile manufacturing environment.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Plan, develop and implement strategy for finance management and development (including budgeting, monitoring, Management reporting, credit control, purchase ledger, costing, cash management, investment appraisals).
- Establish and maintain appropriate Manufacturing and Financial systems for measuring all necessary aspects of manufacturing and financial resource and development according to agreed budgets and KPI’s.
- Monitor, measure and report on commercial issues, opportunities and development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescales.
- Reporting and accounting as per regulatory and legal requirements including taxation, dividends, annual report and accounts.
- Manage and develop direct reporting staff according to company procedures and policy.
- Contribute to the evaluation and development of financial strategy and performance in co-optation with the executive team.
- Maintain lean, efficient and relevant operational, reporting, communication and planning systems.

- Manage, appraise and control departmental expenditure within agreed budgets.
- Other areas of responsibility include, company insurance, import/export administration, regulatory bodies relationships and strategies.
- Ensure activities meet and integrate with organisational requirements for quality management, health and safety, legal stipulations, environmental policies and general duty of care.

**What are we looking for?**
- CIMA, ACA, ACCA qualified or equivalent
- Knowledge of costings
- Significant commercial and financial understanding
