**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Provide excellent customer service, engaging with patrons and assisting them with their drink selections.
- Monitor customer behaviour and consumption, ensuring responsible service of alcohol.
- Handle transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Comply with food safety regulations and maintain hygiene standards at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Keep track of inventory levels, assisting in ordering supplies as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- A friendly demeanour and the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- A willingness to learn about new drink recipes and techniques to enhance service quality.
