**Residential Support Worker (Wake & Watch) Job Opportunities**:
Are you looking for a new challenge and really want to make a difference to our residents’ lives? We now have opportunities available to join our support team. At Deafway we provide residential and support services to Deaf people with a range of additional needs. At the heart of all of our work is an understanding of and respect for BSL (British Sign Language) and Deaf culture. The role will involve providing practical, emotional and social support to help our residents maintain their independence and to achieve their goals.

**We are looking for people who**:

- Have a real passion and enthusiasm for delivering high quality services to residents who have a range of support needs.
- Have a positive attitude and a caring nature.
- Are able to demonstrate empathy whilst enabling residents to maximise their independence.
**In return we offer**:

- 4 weeks per annum, plus Statutory Bank/Public Holidays (pro rata)

- Free Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check - pending the completion of a six-month probationary period.
- Regular training & personal development plans
- Comprehensive induction programme which includes British Sign Language Introductory Course as part of your paid induction, followed by Level 1 training approximately 3 months later and then Level 2 approximately six months later. Opportunity to undertake NVQ level 2/3 in Health and Social Care. (Subject to meeting criteria).
- Working an average of 35 hours per week. £9.49 - £9.73 per hour depending on qualifications.
- Night Enhancement (when worked). Roles involve shift work including weekends and bank holidays.
