**About the Role**
A unique opportunity for an experienced kitchen porter, to join Ridgeview, a multi award-winning English Sparkling Wine producer in Sussex. You’ll play an exciting role in our new al fresco restaurant. The opportunity to work within an award-winning business as part of a pioneering, proactive and friendly team, at the forefront of the English Wine Industry.
**Experience required**
- No previous experience required, just an interest in the wine or hospitality industry with a willingness to learn

- Attention to detail and pride in high levels of cleanliness
**About the Role**
- Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients
- Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters
- Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed
- Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom
- Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock
- Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans
- Be available for functions as they arise to ensure that the food is prepared and served as required
- Knowledge of the ordering and control of stock levels procedures
- Other tasks and project work as directed by hospitality manager or head chef

Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
