**Head of Quality Assurance**

As a Barclays Head of Quality Assurance (QA) this is an exciting opportunity where you will support the Global Director of QA in driving an overall end-end-to-end strategy to Financial Crime QA processes and controls. The role holder will support the continued enhancement of risk management across Group Financial Crime Operations, Wholesale Client Onboarding (WCOB). The purpose of this role is to lead the execution of a comprehensive QA service across WCOB.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Leading a global team accountable for execution and continued enhancement of quality assurance in line with Group requirements and operational framework
- Building and maintaining ongoing feedback loop from key business areas/processes
- Ensuring that requirements are incorporated into developing and optimising solutions and actively documented appropriately
- Responsible for the oversight, co-ordination, and responses to requests from third parties in respect to Barclay’s approach to QA in relation to AML regulations
- Managing senior stakeholders and effectively communicate issues and/or requirements and solutions to senior management
- Identifying and monitoring the remediation of issues as they arise through QA and lead teams of Financial Crime QA professionals to effectively remediate risk
- Certifying successful ongoing controls are embedded to mitigate future issues

**What we’re looking for**:

- Background in Financial Crime, in AML, Customer Due Diligence and risk assessment
- Knowledge in Global Anti Financial Crime risks and regulations
- Demonstrable delivery and embedment of strong governance and oversight framework
- Experience of working in a global operation, risk management or compliance environment

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience of coaching and developing team members to high levels of performance
- Solid history of successful continuous improvement and process / control execution
- Financial Crime / Compliance / Risk Management related qualification preferred
