A fast-growing media company is seeking an IT Technician to join their expanding IT Team. The role offers genuinely great career progression in an impressive company. To be a good fit for this team you’ll already have some 1 st Line IT support experience(or good knowledge of) using Mac and Google technologies ideally.
This role is hybrid and is paying £25,000-£28,000 plus good benefits.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure support calls are logged, updated and followed through to resolution on the helpdesk system.
- Provide user support (remote and deskside) and education with a ‘customer service’ mindset.
- Configure new starter accounts and equipment.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware and software.
- Document IT processes and maintain knowledge base.
- Asset management and tracking
- Deliver engaging workshops to employees to improve knowledge of LDS technologies.
- Occasionally perform out of hours and weekend support as per department’s schedule.
Experience and skills required:
- IT support experience, specifically with macOS and iOS (essential)
- Google Workspace experience (desirable)
- Familiarity with Video Conferencing and A/V Systems.
- Experience with Communication and Collaboration tools (Google Meets, Teams, Zoom, Atlassian, 1Password)
- ServiceNow helpdesk experience.
- A ‘customer service’ mindset; patient, approachable and helpful.
- Time management and an ability to prioritise the workload of multiple tasks running concurrently.
- Work well independently and within teams of people. Ability to adapt your approach to people with a range of working styles.
- Quickly able to adopt new skills; you’ll always be presented with new problems, you'll need to learn and know where to go quickly to resolve the problem you’re faced with.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
