We are adopting a hybrid approach to working and our teams are planning for this. For most roles this will mean a mix of office based and remote working.
**About the role**
Do you have a flair for producing engaging online content? Can you work with our teams to collaboratively create user journeys that improve customer experience?
We're looking for an experienced Senior Digital Content Officer to join our digital communications team.
It's an exciting time to join us. We're at the beginning of a significant programme that's exploring the redevelopment of our website. You'll have a central role to play in that work.
Reporting to the Digital Communications Manager, you'll forge strong relationships with all areas of the business to develop web content that focuses on user experience.
You'll be responsible for managing web content at every stage of the production process, from concept to delivery. You'll critique customer journeys, using customer insight and analytics to generate ideas for enhancing user experience and helping translateour business processes.
We're looking for self-starters, people that take the initiative and find innovative solutions. Working often independently, you'll have the freedom to set the agenda on the areas of the website that you manage.

**About you**
- First-class writing and editorial skills with a focus on writing for the web
- Substantial experience of working in a digital environment, specifically in writing and/or editing content for websites, preferably in a complex organisation and/or for a professional audience.
- Ability to take complex processes and make them easy to understand in well-structured content
- Experience of using analytics to inform content development and online improvements.
- Experience working across disciplines, with developers, UX designers and project managers
- Experience of using Content Management Systems to an advanced level
- Ability to build an internal stakeholder network and strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.

**How we're working**
We're currently working remotely due to the pandemic, but we're planning for a return to hybrid working at some point. We're working with our teams to plan this, and for most roles this will mean a mix of office based and remote working.
Working life doesn't always have to be 'nine to five' and we support flexible working wherever possible. Please chat to our resourcing team about the flexibility we could offer for this role.
We are continuing to review our ways of working, and our return to our offices in the coming months will be gradual and considered, with the well-being of our teams as our primary focus as well as moving forward with incorporating remote working into ourfuture.
**About the NMC**
