Trainee Cutter

Belfield Furnishings are market leaders in the manufacture of upholstery and soft furnishings to a number of leading high street retailers and into the caravan and leisure industry.

Based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire and due to business expansion, we are looking to add to our already skilled team.

Do you have previous experience working in stores, warehouses or in production or are you a recent school leaver?

**Hours of Work: Full Time with Half Day Fridays**

**Salary**:Starting at £10.00 per hour, rising once fully trained.

**The Job**

**Working within our bedding department, you will learn how the department works, and learn how to be a cutter.**

**Your duties will include**:

- Ensure correct cut sizes are followed from orders
- Layup by hand and by machine
- Report any issues immediately to the supervisor
- Assist with any other tasks as required
- Ensure all aspects of required health and safety protocol are used

**The Person**
- Be self-motivated and reliable
- Be Capable of working to tight deadlines
- Be able to work effectively as part of a large team.
- 39 Hour per week
- Full training will be provided
