Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours - day and night, for long and short-term stays.
This role involves leading the catering proposition from our brand-new Bistro facility.
You will have a friendly nature and be confident in dealing with our residents, visitors and colleagues.
You will be the caring and friendly face of our Bistro, a place where people choose to go to relax and enjoy a drink/snack with their family and friends.

**This is a part time role**:
Week 1 - Monday and Friday - 9am - 4.30 pm
Week 2 - Saturday and Sunday - 9am - 4.30pm
Job responsibilities
- To run the new Bistro Café in The Poets Home - providing an enticing offer of hot and cold drinks, including speciality coffees and basic hot/cold snacks.
- To provide a warm, welcoming and friendly environment where people choose to come to relax with friends and family. To engage with everyone who comes into this space, offering help and hospitality - this will include our residents, families, visitors and Directors of SCNH.
- To manage the hygiene, cleaning and safety of the Bistro Café - including all equipment, tables and general environment.
- To adhere to the requirements of essential record keeping, good communication skills are essential for this role; an ability to talk confidently to our clients / guests etc... will be vital.

The ability to engage with some basic skills in stock management, including ensuring proper date rotation controls are in place
