Hse Co-ordinator

Our client is seeking a qualified HSE Co-Ordinator to ensure that the Andover site complies to national & local Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) regulations and laws.It is the responsiblity of the HSE Co-Ordinator to work with the Manaagement Teamand all staff levels to promote and develop the HSE culture.Ensure accurate records are kept in support of compliance regulations.Maintain relevant KPI’s and internal promotional material in support of the HSE systems.Maintain internal audit programsin validation of planned activities and Work with internal teams to drive continuous improvement in pursuit of business excellence in the disciplines of HSE

**KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- The role requires a high degree of inter personnel skills to ensure the success of growing a culture of compliance and continuous improvement across the entire business.
- Ensure that company philosophies are supported as part of the development of business systems and staff
- Ensure procedures and records are maintained in support of national & local regulations.
- Maintain KPI data to present to senior management and help support continuous improvement, through root cause investigations in the event of identified weaknesses
- Prepare data for the companies consultative committee and to communicate pre meeting agenda and ensure minutes and associated actions are acted on promptly.
- Develop a strong and effective internal audit and risk assessed improvement program.
- Lead and advise personnel on carrying out COSHH assessments and risk assessments and ensure risks are being reduced or removed alongside department managers

**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Possess or be working towards NEBOSH General Certificate as a minimum standard.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001
- Member of the institute of Occupation safety and health desirable

Combined with the necessary qualifications and experience you will be a results orientated indvidual with the ability to communicate with people on all levels.Although this role is predominantly based in Andover there will be requirements for you to travelthrughout uk/Europe for networking opportunities.
