**The Company**

Due to ongoing expansion and development, a position is available for a Document Automation Specialist to join a growing function within transformation and project management. This independent regional UK law firm is known for its highly effective solutions to clients’ complex needs within selected markets which include the largest public and private sector organisations, alongside SMEs and high net worth individuals.

**Key Responsibilities** of the Document Automation Specialist
- Provide technical expertise in the creation of new automation solutions
- Managing document automation projects from conception through to delivery
- Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to design and build the most appropriate automated solution
- Maintaining and updating existing automations
- Providing technical expertise and support on the automation tool Contract Express
- Identify opportunities where automation technologies can assist with supporting internal clients
- Deliver end user training and provide training and support to lawyers on how to mark-up a document for automation
- Providing advice on best practice for document automation
- Ensuring automations are consistent with internal document automation standards and the firm’s House Style
- Providing usage reports and statistical information on usage
- Working closely with the practice areas to promote automation solutions both within the business and as a client facing solution

**Skills & Attributes** of the Document Automation Specialist
- Experience working with and excellent working knowledge of document automation technologies such as Contract Express or similar
- Able to understand law firm or other high performance business environments and deal competently and diplomatically with lawyers and business services professionals of all levels
- A motivated self-starter using initiative with a “can-do” attitude and the ability to optimise the performance of both technology and people
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with a professional approach and the ability to collaborate effectively, build relationships, knowledge share and clearly articulate and explain document automation solutions and requirements in non-technical terms
- Strong knowledge of technology and IT literate including MS Office, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
- An interest in innovation and technology and be open to new ideas
