**This opportunity is for a Financial Administrator to join a well-established, Independent Financial Advisory Firm. This is a full-time office role, working Monday to Friday 09:00am - 5:00pm, in Uffculme, Devon.**

**Med-Ex Financial Advisory Services offer Independent Financial Advice, Retirement Planning and Wealth Management, who specialise in working with medical professionals. Med-Ex has a niche client base, offering bespoke services, with** **25 years of experience.**

**Job Title: Financial Administrator**

**Purpose of Job: Administrative Role**

**Reports to: Managing Director**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Updating and preparing for annual client reviews
- Sending Letters of Authority to providers and chasing the requested information
- Create and assist with maintaining client files in both an electronic and paper format
- Being responsible for running Client Group Benefit Schemes. Inc:
Booking new member appointments - Creating new member packs - Processing member paperwork - Creating benefit client newsletters - Liaising with the group scheme secretary and HR team - Keeping the group scheme spreadsheets up to date - Keeping member information up to date.
- Manage and maintain accurate data on office back-office system
- Processing and uploading the IFA’s CPD documentation
- Preparing meeting packs for new and existing clients
- Updating and reviewing office spreadsheets and registers
- Covering priority office admin work for staff holiday / absences
- Ad-hoc project work

This role has the potential to develop over time, depending on the needs of the firm and the experience/skills of the individual.

- Computer literate (Outlook, Word etc)

**Desired Skills Required**
- Experience of working for an IFA or in financial services
- Experience using the software: Wealthcraft
- Financial qualifications would be a bonus

**Other Information**:
Days of Work: Monday to Friday

Set Business Hours: 09:00am to 5:00pm.inc. 1 hour lunch break

Annual Leave:
20 Days + Bank Holidays

8% Company Pension Contribution

By director discretion, office closure for the Christmas week.
