**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare, cut, and package various types of meats according to specifications.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the butcher area.
- Ensure all meat products meet food safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with shop staff to fulfil orders efficiently and effectively.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering queries regarding meat selection and preparation methods.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new techniques in food preparation and butchery.

**Experience**
- Proven experience as a Butcher or in a similar role within the culinary or restaurant industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Familiarity with various cutting techniques and equipment used in food preparation.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- A passion for delivering exceptional products to customers.
- Required to cover throughout Fife.

Pay: From £12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
