As we continue to grow 20%+ year after year, we’re now looking for a Pre-Construction Design Assistant to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis working in a hybrid fashion from our Head Office in Reading.

**The Role**
As a Pre-Construction Design Assistant, you will work collaboratively within our Pre-Construction, Sales and Marketing Teams to provide First-Class responses and solutions to technical problems.
Specifically, you will provide either standard or bespoke technical design solutions to multifaceted projects to build trust between our clients and design teams.
As part of the Design Team, you will play a crucial role in the innovation of new ideas and solutions by adding your input to design trends.
Additionally, you will:

- Use our Revit models to provide support for projects where specific IFC and 2D drawings are requested
- Use templates to provide a standard level of responses when submitting designs and other information
- Build a detailed understanding of current and planned Sapphire products
- Add input to Steering Groups for new products that are becoming more popular including new product developments on our balcony design configuration tool
**About You**
To be considered a Pre-Construction Design Assistant, you will need:

- A minimum of two years’ experience using Computer-Aided Design Software (ideally AutoCAD, Inventor or Revit)
- Confidence in creating and submitting complete design solutions
- Experience with 3D design tools, ideally Sketchup
- Proactive and solution-oriented approach to design
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent professional qualification in Technical Design. Some experience of the construction industry and technical knowledge of fabricated steel and aluminium products would be beneficial.
