Our client is a specialist insurance company operating in the Lloyds/London market, offering the combination of broking and underwriting which provides the ability to quote and bind risks through in-house binding authorities, while providing customers withopen market access to Lloyd's, US and international insurers.

Reporting to the Binding Authority Technical Management team, the purpose of this role will primarily be to contribute towards the smooth running of the Binding Authority team through providing support to the Broking and Managed Underwriting departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintenance/back-up of the Binding Authority diary.
- Assist with production of Confirmations of Cover, Endorsements and other general correspondence.
- Submission of Binding Authority Agreements/Endorsements to DXC and dealing with any resulting queries.
- General office administration.
- Bordereaux processing.
- To learn and assist where necessary in all areas of the binding authority team.

Key Skills and Experience
- A minimum of 1 years' experience working for a Lloyd's Broker.
- Knowledge of US business would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of binder processes.
- Experience of working in a technical binder processing role is essential.
- Experience in premium bordereaux processing.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexibility and ability to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of insurance/broking systems desirable (DCOM, DDM would be an advantage).
