Kitchen Porter

**Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist with food preparation by washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and other ingredients as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen by washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils promptly.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored correctly after use.
- Support chefs during service by helping with basic cooking tasks and serving when necessary.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Assist in stock control by reporting low inventory levels to the kitchen management team.
- Participate in regular cleaning duties, including deep cleaning of kitchen areas as scheduled.

**Experience**
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills will be beneficial.
- Experience in restaurants, hotels, or any hospitality setting is preferred.
