Horizon Teachers are currently working with an SEN school in Hillingdon that are requiring a Teaching Assistant to support one of their students on a 1:1 basis. The student you will be supporting has complex learning difficulties and physical disabilities aswell as being non-verbal, so experience supporting students with learning difficulties and disabilities would be very desirable.
The school cater for students aged 4 to 11 providing quality teaching, social care and health care facilities. You will need to be able to use your initiative to best help support them during class time.
What the school are looking for:

- An enthusiastic and proactive individual
- Previous experience working with SEN - especially in SLD and PMLD
- Moving and Handling experience is very desirable
- Happy to conduct personal care
- Passionate and not afraid to get hands on
- Comfortable to lead small groups as well as working 1:1 with vulnerable students
