We are looking for a Casualty Adjuster to join our established team. As a Casualty Adjuster, you will be responsible for employers’, public, products and construction liability site investigations / surveys and proactive claims handling. You will liaise directly with stakeholders to ensure that each claim is fully investigated, providing superior customer service and technical excellence. **Key responsibilities include**: - Manage a case load of up to 80 files, demonstrating effective and proactive claims handling. - Undertake thorough site investigations and surveys in a timely manner. - Liaising with Insurers, Policyholders, Witnesses and other experts where appropriate and manage their expectations. - You will be expected to handle claims from cradle to grave and investigate and report only. - Determine the correct liability outcome, control indemnity spend and negotiate the resolution of claims within our Principals authority. - Demonstrate and be able to adhere to agreed SLA’s. - Prepare detailed and concise reports, which clearly explain your investigation, legal liability and quantum recommendations. - Provide technical advice, support and guidance to all stakeholders, and propose bespoke solutions in a professional manner. - Interrogate RCA and ensure mitigation of repetition. - Keep abreast of case law and legal developments. - Assist developing new business/building upon existing relationships with all stakeholders. - Possess a can do attitude and collaborate effectively with colleagues and all stakeholders. **Who we are looking for**: - Proven experience in Loss Adjusting and Claims Handling in Casualty claims. - Cert CII and/or Cert CILA qualified, ACII and/ or ACILA is advantageous. - Knowledge of Commercial Combined Liability Policies - Strong administration skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel - Excellent communication skills both verbally and written with an ability to articulate complex issues - Good technical and problem-solving skills with an eye for identifying solutions - Effective time management skills and the ability to manage own workload with mínimal supervision - Quality driven with high levels of attention to detail - Self-sufficient, self-motivated, and confident, ability to be assertive and persistent when required - Full, clean driving license **Benefits**: - Employer and Employee 5% Contributory Pension - Private Health Care - 25 Days Annual Leave, plus additional one day Birthday Holiday - Death in service - Enhanced maternity, adoption, paternity, and sick pay **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Salary**: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year **Benefits**: - Work from home Schedule: - Monday to Friday Work Location: On the road
