**Quality Engineer**

We are working with a well-recognised consumer electronics company, which requires a Quality Engineer to join their busy research and development department in Cambridge.

Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to join their Quality team. You will collaborate with the team to guarantee that goods and components are developed, constructed, and manufactured to the appropriate standard and that consumer expectations are met.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- You will guarantee that high-quality standards are maintained across the product line and will assist development teams in producing better goods.
- Identify, test, and provide feedback on different stages for a range of consumer electrical products to comply with government legislation and company standards. You will help with the development, design, and installation of custom test rigs and equipmentto fulfil the demands of new products.
- Arrange for the setup and execution of product reliability testing on consumer electrical items.
- You will be using: Access Database, document findings from fault analysis, report observations, and recommend solutions for the company's products.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**ESSENTIAL**

Experience as a Quality Engineer or similar

Demonstrable practical skills to assist with dismantling products, and running and maintaining diverse types of test equipment

**DESIRED**

Lean Six Sigma aware

Degree in Engineering
