**About the Company**:
Walker & Sloan are delighted to be partnering with a Tier 1 contractor delivering one of the most prestigious flagship projects in Exeter. Known for their expertise in complex construction schemes, this contractor is widely recognised for innovation, quality, and successful project delivery. They are now seeking an experienced **Senior Planner** to join their team and play a pivotal role in driving the success of this high-profile project.

**The Role**:
As a **Senior Planner**, you will be responsible for the preparation, development, and management of project programmes from pre-construction through to completion. Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and monitoring detailed project schedules and construction programmes
- Analysing project requirements to identify risks, constraints, and opportunities
- Supporting project teams with planning advice and progress reporting
- Working closely with design, commercial, and operations teams to ensure programme integration
- Providing input into tender programmes and supporting bid submissions where required
- Regularly updating and reviewing project progress, identifying potential delays, and advising on mitigation strategies

This is a critical role where you will ensure programme certainty and contribute directly to the successful delivery of a flagship scheme.

**The Person**:
We are looking for an individual who brings:

- Proven experience as a Planner or Senior Planner within a Tier 1 or leading regional contractor
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and project planning principles
- Proficiency in planning software (e.g. Asta Powerproject, Primavera P6, or equivalent)
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders and project teams
- A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving skills

This role will suit an experienced planner who is motivated by complex, high-value projects and keen to take on a senior-level responsibility.
