Learner Mentor

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Provide one-on-one mentoring and tutoring to children, helping them achieve their educational goals.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the individual needs of each child.
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages curiosity and a love for learning.
- Assist with preschool and toddler care, ensuring a safe and stimulating atmosphere.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss progress and address any concerns regarding their child's development.
- Utilise effective communication skills to support children with speech therapy needs, if applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in early childhood education or related fields such as preschool teaching, tutoring, or mentoring.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
- Experience working with children in various capacities, including childcare or toddler care settings.
- Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to different learning styles.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with children effectively.
- A background in teaching physical education is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A genuine passion for educating young minds and supporting their growth.
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or related fields are preferred.

Pay: £24,880.00-£26,704.00 per year
