**Role Summary**:
Job To assemble and test heat exchangers and sub-assemblies that meet drawing and other documented requirements. To co-operate with other team members to achieve Assembly and Test schedules.

**Core Responsibilities**:
Key Tasks 1. Assemble and Test units and sub-assemblies to ensure conformance to drawing and other relevant documents.

2. Endorse appropriate documentation to record conformance.

3. Liaise with Team Leader and others to ensure company and customer requirements are met.

4. Operate as part of a team that makes the most effective use of Assembly and Test resource.

5. Take part in Continuous Improvement activities as required to help improve process robustness and reduce the cost of poor quality.

6. Use lifting equipment to raise and lower Heat Exchangers in and out of water for test purposes.

8. Assemble units and move them around on the bench when necessary.

9. Visually check parts for any defects.

10. Any other tasks considered commensurate with your role by your Manager.

**Skills, knowledge and attributes**:
Certifications: Vocational training, apprenticeships or the equivalent experience in related field

Years Experience: 2 years

**Skills**:
Able to perform complex mechanical and/or electromechanical assembly operation

Capable of solving problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures

Skilled at simple welding tasks and/or brazing, or soldering

Ability to read and interpret company documents, such as safety rules, operating/manufacturing instructions, policies and procedures

Good manual dexterity required to work with small parts

Effective oral and written communication
