**About you**

You will be a key part of our Strategy and Reporting Team. Making sure that our systems are not only functional but also support the organisation’s reporting, data collection and data analysis needs.

You’ll be at the heart of gathering valuable data, engaging content, compelling case studies from team members across the organization, and producing internal data insights. All contributing to our evidence-based decision-making process and helping tell the organisation’s story.

As a cherry on top, you’ll be a key part of orchestrating a reporting cycle that not only tracks our progress but delivers actionable insights, shines a spotlight on our achievements and delights our funders and stakeholders along the way.

**It would be great if you had experience in**:

- Reporting experience, ideally in an arts environment
- Coordinating organisational systems

**Skills and knowledge of**:

- Ability to understand complex information and to coordinate and set up processes to capture information
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills
- Demonstrate proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel to a high standard with the ability to use advanced formulas (SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, SUMPRODUCT, XLOOKUP), pivot tables and charts.
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the importance of data protection and the role of GDPR

**It also helps if you have**:

- Qualifications in data
- Experience of working in the subsidised live music sector
- Experience of Tessitura or other contact databases.
- Ability to use SQL to extract data.
- Experience with Power BI, specifically basic DAX and Power Query.
- Experience of Arts Council platforms including Illuminate.
- Knowledge and understanding of the role of music (or the wider arts) in society
- Demonstrable project coordination skills

**You’ll be responsible for**:
Team up with colleagues to:

- Help organise, analyse and interpret data, including CRM and survey data.
- Generate data and reports to support decision making across the organisation and further improve our internal data insights across the organisation.
- Help coordinate systems for generating essential data and information for reporting and bid writing, including reporting for commercial outcomes.
- Work with external systems as required by funders including Arts Council England.

This will include:

- Collecting proof of progress against strategic plan to help with reflection and adaptation.
- Collecting evidence to report on government and other significant grant funding sources, eg Arts Council England.
- Sending and analysis of regular audience surveys and evaluations.

Some examples of the reporting your data and information will help make happen are:

- Annual report publication
- Internal business planning and reporting
- Creative Diversity reporting
- Digital activity
- Audience development
- Environmental reporting
- All other funding reports and plans as required
