**Job Overview**
Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The role involves providing essential care and support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. If you are compassionate, reliable, and have a passion for helping others, we would love to hear from you.

**Responsibilities**:

- Have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at the highest standard
- Be able to work well with people of varying personalities and background
- Be able to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Must be a computer literate
- Assisting with providing a high-quality service that places the individual at the centre of care provision
- Assisting with Personal Care such as skin care, bathing, monitoring of pressure areas, shaving, oral care, toileting, dressing, hair care, make up and lot more
- Providing companionship to clients
- Assisting with mobility using the required transferring aids such as pushing a wheelchair, handling transfers, hoist, Sara steady and lots more according to the need of the client as written in the care plan.
- Assisting clients to public gardens, appointment visit and lot more
- Assisting with menu planning, preparing, serving and storing of foods according to standard.
- Assisting with medication administration as prescribed by the GP following what is written down in the MAR Chart
- Assisting with dealing with financial documentation as requested.
- Assisting with day-to-day household tasks such as bed changing, laundry, ironing, shopping.
- Treating clients with respect and dignity
- Respect for client confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- Reporting and recording of all necessary information as per company procedure.
- Complying to company policies and procedures at all times.
- Attending induction training and refresher courses.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Health Care Assistant or in a similar role
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in creating and managing care plans
- Computer literacy with a good understanding of IT systems
- Ability to drive and transport clients as needed
- Familiarity with home care practices and care home environments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract

Pay: £13.00-£13.50 per hour
