Reporting to: Catering Supervisor
Hours/working pattern: 8 hours per day (Mon-Fri)
We’re currently recruiting for an ambitious Catering Apprentice to help us create exceptional food experiences for Chartwells/PPP-IML on a full-time basis contracted to 40 hours per week.
As a Catering Apprentice you will be working in a passionate and hard-working team to create an outstanding customer service experience for our customers. In return, you will have the chance to progress your career with a company that invests in its people, celebrates individuality, and rewards and recognises employees who go beyond the plate.
On completion of the Apprenticeship, you will achieve the L2 Production Chef and become a qualified Catering Assistant.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
- Follow recipes accurately and cooking dishes to spec
- Completion of food safety management documents
- Upholding high levels of Customer Service
- Maintaining high standards of Food Service
- General Housekeeping
- Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image
