IT Apprenticeship

We are looking for an IT apprentice to join our team in Wakefield. You will be supporting our friendly team with all business IT needs so must have knowledge of hardware and software issues and great communication skills. You need to be able to commute easily to wakefield WF1 for this ICT Technician apprenticeship.

**Roles and responsibilities will include**:
Loading and offloading lines.
Updating Product listings
Accurately capture all relevant device information.
Recording data erasure outcome.
Removing and recording hard drives.
Ensuring all online information is correct

**Apprenticeship**

Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience. Successful completion of this apprenticeship gives you an accredited Level 3 Information Communications Technician, with training in how to:
Efficiently operate and control your ICT infrastructure - physical or virtual hardware, software, network services and data storage
Use infrastructure management tools to automate the provisioning, testing, deployment and monitoring of infrastructure components
Prioritise systems support tasks and monitor and maintaining system performance
Maintain regulatory, legal, and professional standards
Support the information systems needs for your business

**Key Skills Required**

Good awareness of PC's
Proficient fault finder and problem solver
Hardware knowledge
Software knowledge

**Qualification**:
Level 3 ICT Apprenticeship (approx. 18 months to complete)

**Wage**:
**Apprenticeship wage of £6.40/hour can be paid for the first 12 months of your apprenticeship. After this time your wage will increase to at least minimum wage.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: £6.40 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
