We are currently recruiting for Store Assistant/ Goods Receiver to join our Truly Talented team. ** What we offer** - £12.21 per hour - Flexible contract up to 30 hours per week **Benefits** - Worldwide employee discounts at Marriott Hotels; - Hotel discounts across all Axiom Hospitality hotels ' colleague rates and up to 50% discount on F&B; - 28 days holiday, including bank holidays, increasing yearly to 33 days; - Discounts across retail, restaurants, events and more through our benefits & rewards portal; - Access to our Employee Assistance Line to support your Mental Health and Wellbeing; - Use of Wagestream Financial Wellbeing platform, allowing instant access to your pay; - Yearly complimentary Axiom Xcape stayover after one year of service; - A growing team with great training, progression, and promotion opportunities; - Rewards for referring a friend: referral bonus for recommending a new team member starts at £250 per successful hire; - Length of service awards, ranging from 1 year to 3, 5, 10 and 20-year rewards and more **The Role** The Store Person/ Goods Receiver ensures the efficient running of all stores area processes within the hotel including deliveries, distribution, checking and monitoring. ** Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to**: - Ensure strict stock control procedures are adhered to at all times and to report any failure in systems as a matter of urgency to the Operations Manager/General Manager; - Accepts all deliveries to the stores and always follows our company delivery instructions including temperature checking of product & spot checking delivery vehicles; - Rotating stock to ensure older products are used first; - Ensures deliveries are all put away in the corresponding areas; - Ensures all stock movements are correctly recorded and that all necessary documentation is sent to Finance department; - Maintains all stock levels according to guidelines, conducting stock taking checks as part of daily, weekly and monthly duties as directed by the Operations Manager/General Manager; - Checks all sell by dates on a daily/weekly basis to ensure items are used and waste is kept to a minimum; - Prepares order requests daily as a result of checks process. Making sure the items ordered are on company stocking policies; - Ensures breakages are correctly recorded, investigates stock losses and completes all necessary reporting documentation; - Attends Stock Take de-brief meetings to report all activities and actions; - Maintains high levels of cleanliness, hygiene and efficiency in all stores areas. As well as managing the hotels beer line process; - Accountable for any keys and cash signed for at the start of each shift, ensuring stores areas are kept secure at all times.
